9/11 Day of Remembrance – 25th Anniversary

Join us for College Square Mall’s as our community gathers to honor the lives lost, recognize the courage of first responders and mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

The remembrance ceremony will include remarks from community leaders, a presentation of colors, a wreath ceremony, a firefighter stair climb and a moment of silence at 10:28 a.m.—the time the North Tower collapsed.

Following the ceremony, community members are invited to participate in a one-mile indoor Memorial Walk. Each participant will carry the name of a fallen FDNY firefighter. Upon completing the walk, that hero’s name will be read aloud and a ceremonial bell will be rung in their memory.

There is no cost to participate. Come walk with us as we ensure their courage, sacrifice and stories are never forgotten.
